Operations Planner
Location: Oakville, ON
Contract Length: 4 months
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)

We are seeking an Operations Planner to support the Wind Power business across the Americas region. In this role, you will be responsible for executing purchasing activities and managing supply requirements for both internal and aftermarket customers. You will collaborate closely with Customer Order Management, Operations, Logistics, Transportation, and Procurement teams to ensure the timely fulfillment and delivery of critical parts and materials.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage order processing and purchasing activities for Americas-based Wind Power warehouses and service locations.
- Collaborate with Procurement, Controlling, and Logistics teams to ensure compliance with established supply chain processes, guidelines, and tools.
- Analyze operational processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, performance, and cost effectiveness.
- Monitor, maintain, and report on key performance metrics, recommending actionable improvements where needed.
- Serve as the primary operational contact for an assigned portfolio of suppliers, managing daily communications and issue resolution.
- Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships while monitoring vendor performance and addressing operational challenges.
- Partner with internal customers to understand requirements and ensure supply chain activities align with business needs and expectations.
- Ensure procurement activities are conducted in compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, documentation, and communications to support audit requirements.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within purchasing and supply chain processes.
- Coordinate with external auditors and ensure transparency and alignment across relevant supply chain activities.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Procurement, Purchasing, or Supply Chain Management.
- Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP for procurement and order management activities.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint.
- Experience analyzing and manipulating data within spreadsheets to support reporting, performance tracking, and operational decision-making.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Experience within manufacturing, industrial, energy, or wind power environments.
- Additional language skills in Spanish and/or Portuguese.
