Payroll Specialist
*This role will travel between our Charleroi and Rostraver site: Onsite weekly requirement: 1 day per week per site for 2hrs. The remaining time will be remote.

Job Summary
We’re looking for a Payroll Specialist to support employees with pay and timekeeping needs. This hybrid role offers remote flexibility with minimal onsite requirements.
Responsibilities
- Answer employee questions about timecards and pay
- Ensure timekeeping data is accurate for payroll processing
- Process pay changes (corrections, bonuses, reimbursements)
- Enter payroll information for regular and special pay runs
- Train employees and leaders on timekeeping tools/self-service
- Review special payment requests for compliance
- Provide onsite support during scheduled office hours (approx. 2 hrs per site weekly)
- Assist with process improvements and system updates
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Accounting, or related field OR HS diploma/GED + 2 years relevant experience
- 2+ years in payroll, timekeeping, or HR operations
- Knowledge of payroll processes and timekeeping systems
- Experience with HR/payroll systems (Workday preferred)
- Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information appropriately
- Familiarity with process improvement methods (Lean a plus)
