Our client a Global Oil and Gas Operator in Perth CBD are currently seeking Payroll Specialist to join them for a 6 month contract.
Seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to join our high-performing team based in the Perth head office.
You'll join a strong and cohesive team, delivering global payroll to Woodside Energy employees across 5 continents.
Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • You'll get involved in a range of activities ensuring Woodside staff are paid in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Transacting day to day payroll activities to ensure accurate data is processed and maintained
  • Delivery in accordance with the monthly timetable so that all payroll activities are conducted according to Woodside and legislative guidelines to ensure timely, accurate and efficient delivery of Benefits services to the business
  • Support payroll process including processing terminations, reconciliation of super and STP.
  • Resolution of queries and issues raised by the business, escalating to Payroll Lead as appropriate.
  • Working alongside a team of seasoned professionals, the below experiences would be an advantage (but not essential):
  • Reconciliations
  • Complex calculations (e.g. over/under payments)
  • Superannuation calculations
Key Skills and Experience Required:
  • We are seeking an experienced Payroll professional who has demonstrated background in running end-to-end payroll. Additionally you will bring:
  • Experience in SAP or EC/ECP (highly desirable)
  • Ability to prioritise work to meet deadlines
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Flexible and able to address multiple issues simultaneously, and see tasks through to a satisfactory conclusion
  • Ability to manage a high workload and determine outcomes without supervision
  • Enthusiastic team player with great communication skills
  • Good analytical skills
