Personal Assistant to VP Iraq Operations – Dynamic Administrative Leader
Are you a highly organized professional with a passion for delivering seamless administrative support at the highest level? Join us as the Personal Assistant to the Vice President of Iraq Operations, playing a crucial role in ensuring the office runs efficiently within a dynamic, multicultural environment. You will act as the vital link between the VP, direct reports, and a diverse network of internal and external stakeholders across the MENA region, managing complex diaries, coordinating meetings and travel, and facilitating communication that keeps the operations moving smoothly.
Required Skills:
- Proven expertise in managing senior executive diaries and complex schedules with precision
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational abilities with the capacity to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
- Proficiency in preparing high-quality documents, presentations, and correspondence
- Experience working within multicultural, multi-location, and multi-discipline teams
- Competence in coordinating travel logistics, including visa and itinerary management
- Strong problem-solving skills and the flexibility to adapt to changing demands
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite and other administrative tools
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience in the oil and energy sector or a similar complex industry environment
- Familiarity with regional customs, time zones, and business etiquette across MENA
- Knowledge of budget administration and expense claim processes
- Facilitation experience and strong presentation skills
- Prior collaboration with multinational teams and senior leadership across geographies
Preferred Education and Experience:
- University degree in Business Administration, Communications, or related field preferred
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience supporting senior executives in a fast-paced, multicultural setting
Other Requirements:
- Based in Baghdad, Iraq – willingness to relocate or already local
- Ability to manage regional coordination across different time zones
- Commitment to maintaining strict confidentiality and exercising excellent judgment
- Flexibility to support travel arrangements and occasional regional engagements as required
