Are you an experienced maintenance professional who has spent a few years as a Supervisor and is now looking to step up and really own a project? We are currently seeking a Planning / Reliability Supervisor – Mobile Plant to join a well-established site in Papua New Guinea on an even time FIFO roster.
About the Role
This position is responsible for supervising maintenance planning and reliability functions across a heavy mobile equipment (HME) fleet. You will play a critical role in ensuring maintenance efficiency, improving equipment performance, and supporting safe, reliable operations on site.

This position is responsible for supervising maintenance planning and reliability functions across a heavy mobile equipment (HME) fleet. You will play a critical role in ensuring maintenance efficiency, improving equipment performance, and supporting safe, reliable operations on site.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise maintenance planning and reliability activities for the mobile plant fleet (HME and support equipment)
- Coordinate and support reliability programs including RCA, FMEA, and condition monitoring
- Assist in planning and executing shutdowns, preventative maintenance, and defect elimination strategies
- Provide hands-on support and guidance to maintenance teams to ensure work is executed effectively
- Monitor and improve maintenance KPIs, asset performance, and equipment availability
- Promote and enforce a strong safety culture aligned with site and company standards
- Trade qualification or relevant technical background (mechanical or similar preferred)
- Demonstrated experience in mobile plant maintenance planning, scheduling, or reliability within mining
- Previous supervisory or leading hand experience is highly regarded
- Strong knowledge of heavy mobile equipment maintenance practices
- Experience using CMMS systems such as SAP or Pronto
