About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Planning Specialist (Performance & Delivery) to join a major LNG project in Qatar.
This role will be responsible for schedule development, integration, maintenance, monitoring, reporting, and performance analysis across a portfolio of major projects. The successful candidate will play a key role in schedule governance, project controls, risk analysis, forecasting, and management reporting while supporting executive-level stakeholders and project leadership teams. Key Responsibilities
✅ Develop, maintain, and monitor integrated project schedules using Primavera P6.
✅ Consolidate multiple EPC Level 3 & Level 4 schedules into management-level schedules.
✅ Perform schedule reviews, progress monitoring, forecasting, and performance analysis.
✅ Conduct schedule risk analysis and evaluate project delivery risks.
✅ Analyse schedule and cost trends and provide mitigation recommendations.
✅ Validate EPC contractor progress reporting and forecasting accuracy.
✅ Prepare executive-level schedule and performance presentations.
✅ Support governance reviews, planning workshops, and stakeholder meetings.
✅ Track project milestones, critical paths, recovery plans, and schedule impacts.
✅ Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and management to ensure schedule alignment and delivery objectives are achieved.
✅ Support PMT leadership with reporting, forecasting, and performance metrics.
✅ Maintain confidentiality of sensitive project information and adhere to governance protocols. Requirements
Education
✅ Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management, or related discipline.
Experience
✅ Minimum 8 years of project execution experience.
✅ Minimum 6 years of planning/project controls experience within:
✅ Primavera P6 (Version 22 or above)
✅ Integrated Master Scheduling
✅ Schedule Risk Analysis
✅ Progress Measurement & Forecasting
✅ Cost & Schedule Reporting
✅ EPC Project Controls
✅ Critical Path Analysis
✅ Recovery Planning
✅ Project Governance & Reporting
✅ Power BI (Preferred)
✅ Advanced Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint
