Power Delivery Field Engineer-Baltimore, MD

Job Summary: As a Power Delivery Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, testing, and commissioning of electrical power delivery systems. This includes working with high-voltage equipment, substation automation technologies, and protection systems to ensure reliable and safe power transmission and distribution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, test, and maintain power delivery equipment such as transformers, circuit breakers, switchgear, and protection relays.
• Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting on electrical systems in substations and industrial environments.
• Support commissioning and configuration of substation automation systems, including IEDs and SCADA integration.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, electrical codes, and company procedures.
• Document service activities, test results, and system performance reports.
• Collaborate with engineering and project teams to implement upgrades and retrofits.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate degree or technical diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology or related field.
• 4+ years of experience in power delivery systems, preferably in a substation environment.
• Prior experience working for or with electric utilities is highly desirable.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Strong safety awareness and field service mindset.
