Work scopes:
- Support implementation of and compliance with Process Safety Management (PSM) requirements in line with company standards, regulatory obligations, and industry best practices.
- Provide process safety support for refinery and petrochemical design, construction, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities.
- Participate in the development, review, and implementation of risk assessments, SIMOPs plans, process operating manual and commissioning procedures for firefighting and safety systems.
- Review and support design verification for fire detection and fire protection systems.
- Ensure process safety and SSHE requirements are embedded throughout all project execution phases.
- Monitor commissioning and start-up activities and provide process safety recommendations.
- Drive continuous improvement in process safety performance and safety culture.
- Support incident investigations, root cause analyses, and implementation of lessons learned.
- Participate in site inspections, safety walkthroughs, and contractor safety evaluations.
- Deliver SSHE training and briefings for construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up personnel.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in the refinery, petrochemical, or oil and gas industry.
- Familiarity with process safety and fire protection design, implementation, and management.
- Strong knowledge of:
- Process Safety Management (PSM)
- Fire & gas detection and protection system
- Loss Prevention Engineering
- Refinery process operations
- International engineering and safety standards
- Experience with HAZOP, HAZID, JSEA and other risk assessment methodologies.
- Experience with PTW, SIMOPs, LOTO and PSSR implementation.
- Proactive mindset with strong analytical skills.
- Strong communication, coordination, and analytical skills.
- Good physical fitness and ability to work at heights.
- Good English communication skills in speaking, writing, and listening
- Fluent in Thai language, speaking, listening, writing and reading skills
- Experience in EPC or refinery expansion projects is an advantage
- Open to work for Mon-Sat as per project required
