Position: Procurement discipline advisor – Systems, Processes and Procedures
Location: Sunbury, London
Duration: 12 months renewable
Start date: January 2026

Role Synopsis:

The Contracting and Commercial Team is responsible for ensuring procurement activities comply to the Development and Production Contract. The team will develop procedures, processes, governance, underpinning systems, contract models and support the establishment of wider compliance frameworks.

This role will directly report to the Procurement Contracting and Commercial Manager to develop and assist the implementation of procurement and connected systems, develop and implement related processes and procedures, identify control points for compliance within the governance frameworks, and contribute to related activities and reporting.

Key Accountabilities:
• Provide procurement functional input for IT systems’ identification, implementation and optimisation.
• Be the subject matter expert on systems to support the contract governance and partner approval frameworks.
• Develop and implement procurement processes and procedures with a focus on control points and monitoring.
• Develop training material and deliver training sessions to support implementation.
• Undertake data analyses and reporting for procurement, contracting and compliance related activities.
• Support any other ad-hoc tasks/special projects required by C&C Manager and within C&C team.

Essential Education:
• Degree educated - something related to Procurement preferred - or equivalent relevant professional experience

Essential Experience and Job Requirements:
•  Experience using and implementing Procurement systems – e.g. ‘P2P Purchase to Pay’ systems: SAP/Maximo/Oracle/Dynamics, e-sourcing systems: Ariba OneSource and Supplier Management systems: Avetta.
• Deep understanding of procurement policies, standards, procedures, processes and systems.
• Procurement/supply chain experience, including experience in Oil & Gas industry
• Experience dealing with production sharing agreements (PSA)/technical services contract (TSC)/concessionaire contract governance approvals
• Hands-on experience developing and deploying procurement related systems (as outlined above) processes
• Experience in procurement planning and performance reporting and understanding of
related contracting, sourcing, contract and supplier management activities
• Experienced in procurement analytics and developing succinct management information
• Track record collaborating with procurement practitioners and other stakeholders to
develop practical processes.
• Proactive and able to work with minimum supervision, with great interpersonal and
stakeholder management skills.
• Good communication skills both verbal and written, collaborative and flexible style
• Proficiency in Microsoft O365 applications, especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Ideally experienced developing Power BI reporting.
