The Procurement Lead oversees all contractor procurement activities for the CO₂ Sequestration Project. The role ensures that all Procurement & Materials functions are delivered efficiently, cost‑effectively, and in full compliance with Company policies, project requirements, and EPC contract obligations. The position also ensures timely support to the project’s construction schedule by managing procurement cycles end-to-end. Job Context & Major Challenges

- Working Days: 6 days/week (26 days/month)
- Leave Rotation: 12 Weeks On / 2 Weeks Off
The Procurement Lead oversees all contractor procurement activities for the CO₂ Sequestration Project. The role ensures that all Procurement & Materials functions are delivered efficiently, cost‑effectively, and in full compliance with Company policies, project requirements, and EPC contract obligations. The position also ensures timely support to the project’s construction schedule by managing procurement cycles end-to-end. Job Context & Major Challenges
- Ensuring LLI vendors and EPC Contractor maintain a realistic, achievable procurement schedule aligned with the construction timeline.
- Managing the full procurement cycle—RFQ, bid evaluation, PO award, expediting, and delivery.
- Aligning fabrication priorities and preventing supplier overload to maintain timely delivery.
- Establish alignment on procurement objectives, scope, and execution plans with PMT.
- Manage procurement of Long Lead Items (LLI), including ITT preparation, tender stewardship, and PO administration.
- Ensure adherence to company procurement procedures and oversee EPC contractor compliance.
- Report procurement activities, progress, risks, and cost implications.
- Oversee EPC implementation of Purchasing Plans, including materials management, expediting, and logistics.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, preservation requirements, and inspection protocols.
- Review RSPL and ensure proper execution of spare parts procurement strategy.
- Ensure contractor adherence to vendor qualification processes and maintain Vendor List updates.
- Oversee delivery of procurement documentation, including vendor data and quality records.
- Support development and administration of contractor subcontracting plans.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Commercial, Marketing, Sciences, Engineering, Project Management, Supply Chain Management, Law, Communications, Technology, Mathematics, or Statistics.
- 8 years in a business-related discipline, including 4 years in Oil & Gas.
- Minimum 1 year supervisory or contractor/vendor oversight experience.
- Experience working with Oil & Gas companies, EPC contractors, vendors, or service providers.
- Strong knowledge of procurement, contracts, planning, scheduling, cost control, change management, claim management, and risk management.
- Familiarity with international standards and best practices in procurement.
- SME-level competence in relevant business discipline.
- Proficiency in software tools such as SAP, dashboards, data analytics platforms.
- Experience supporting large-scale project and operations organizations.
