Position : Procurement Specialist - Projects Category Location: Sunbury, UK (Hybrid). 3 days in the office and 2 days remote

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: 12 month contract 

Overview
We are currently seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to support the delivery of major energy and infrastructure projects. This role will focus on Engineering, Construction and Engineered Equipment procurement activities, ensuring effective sourcing, supplier performance and contract management.

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver end-to-end sourcing and procurement activities.

• Develop and implement category strategies.

• Manage tendering, bid evaluations and contract negotiations.

• Support major project procurement requirements.

• Manage supplier performance and stakeholder relationships.

• Ensure compliance with procurement governance and procedures.

• Support contract administration and post-award management.

• Work closely with project, commercial, technical and operational teams.

Requirements :
• 5+ years Procurement experience.

• Oil & Gas, Energy, EPC or Infrastructure project experience.

• Engineering and Construction category management experience.

• Strong commercial and contractual knowledge.

• Experience managing suppliers and large procurement packages.

• Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.

• Degree qualified in Procurement, Engineering or Business discipline preferred.

• CIPS qualification desirable.
