Procurement Specialist – Professional Services Overview We are recruiting for a Procurement Specialist to support procurement delivery activities in a newly formed Joint-Venture. The role will help coordinate procurement delivery across indirect categories, working closely with in-country teams and remote category teams to ensure alignment with business priorities and compliance with procurement procedures and contract governance.

You will work with multiple stakeholders helping establish and improve contracting and procurement ways of working, systems, processes, and resources.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support development and execution of category strategies
  • Deliver end-to-end sourcing and contracting, including governance approvals, negotiations, and risk management.
  • Ensure contracts are compliant with relevant standards and operationalised into P2P systems.
  • Support development of Contracts & Procurement Plans (CPP) using demand data for assigned sub-categories.
  • Execute compliance and due diligence activities, including audit resolution where applicable.
  • Support post-award contract management, including invoice approval support, change requests, tracking contract expiries, and extensions/renewals.
  • Support supplier performance activities (KPIs, performance reviews, and improvement actions).
  • Ensure Local Content considerations are incorporated into procurement decisions where required.
  • Act as a point of contact for suppliers and help category teams understand the local market.
  • Promote a strong compliance culture and psychological safety; provide input to investigations and corrective actions where required.
Required Experience & Qualifications
  • University degree in Procurement, Engineering, or a business/technical discipline.
  • CIPS chartership (or equivalent) preferred.
  • Approximately 5+ years’ procurement experience in Oil & Gas, ideally Professional Services or In-Direct.
  • Strong knowledge of Procurement & contracting, supplier management, and project execution environments.
  • Proven ability to collaborate across functions, cultures, and geographies (internal and supplier-facing).
  • Strong commercial and analytical skills with confidence negotiating complex contracts.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; able to drive alignment across competing priorities.
