Criteria & Qualifications:
Educational background
- Master/Bachelor degree in Process, Petroleum, Subsurface, Production Engineering, Engineering Management, or related discipline.
Experience / skills / certificates (if any)
- Minimum: 10+ years of experience in the oil, gas, or petrochemical industry.
- with extensive exposure to upstream or downstream production operations, process engineering, and performance optimisation.
- Discipline Background: Process / Production / Subsurface/ Water/ Facilities Engineering, with proven experience in process monitoring, optimisation.
- Managerial Experience: Minimum 3–8 years in supervisory or team leadership roles managing multidisciplinary technical teams.
- Master/Batchelor degree in Process, Petroleum, Subsurface, Production Engineering, Engineering Management, or related discipline.
- Previous experience in asset engineering / operations engineering role
- Practical/operational exposure to production facilities
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and coaching skills
- Strong bias for being proactive and getting results
- Excellent IT skills – Office suite, document management, applications for CMMS and Change Management.
- Professional accreditation such as Chartered Engineer or equivalent
Core Experience Areas
- Management of Change (MoC)
- Process Safety and Integrity Management (PSIM)
- Operational Risk Assessment (ORA) and SORA
- HAZOP / hazard assessment experience
- Incident and Event Reporting / Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
- Mentoring and development of engineers and operators
