Production technologist

Responsibilities

• Optimise production systems from reservoir to plant boundary, with focus on wells and subsurface performance.
• Support well design activities, including completion strategy, materials selection, ESP sizing and corrosion mitigation.
• Monitor well integrity and production performance using real-time data and analytical tools.
• Act as technical authority for well integrity management in collaboration with operations and well engineering teams.
• Recommend operational improvements, plant modifications and intervention strategies to maximise long-term production efficiency.
• Support preparation and execution of workovers and well interventions.
• Coordinate performance reviews and provide technical input for production optimisation initiatives.

Qualifications

• University degree in Petroleum Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Minimum 15 years of experience within upstream oil & gas or geothermal operations.
• Strong experience in Production Technology and artificial lift systems (ESP).
• Experience with well integrity management principles and lifecycle optimisation.
• Excellent English communication and technical writing skills.
• Professional communication in English, Dutch is a plus not a must
