Responsibilities
With over 90 years' combined experience, NES Fircroft (NES) is proud to be the world's leading engineering staffing provider spanning the Oil & Gas, Power & Renewables, Chemicals, Construction & Infrastructure, Life Sciences, Mining and Manufacturing sectors worldwide. Responsibilities
- Optimise production systems from reservoir to plant boundary, with focus on wells and subsurface performance.
- Support well design activities, including completion strategy, materials selection, ESP sizing and corrosion mitigation.
- Monitor well integrity and production performance using real-time data and analytical tools.
- Act as technical authority for well integrity management in collaboration with operations and well engineering teams.
- Recommend operational improvements, plant modifications and intervention strategies to maximise long-term production efficiency.
- Support preparation and execution of workovers and well interventions.
- Coordinate performance reviews and provide technical input for production optimisation initiatives.
- University degree in Petroleum Engineering or related technical discipline.
- Minimum 15 years of experience within upstream oil & gas or geothermal operations.
- Strong experience in Production Technology and artificial lift systems (ESP).
- Experience with well integrity management principles and lifecycle optimisation.
- Excellent English communication and technical writing skills.
- Professional communication in English, Dutch is a plus not a must
- Able to work independently within multidisciplinary teams in a fast-growing organisation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Affinity with renewable energy, sustainable heat systems and the energy transition.
- High commitment to health, safety and environmental standards.
- Eligible to live and work in the Netherlands.
