NES Fircroft is recruiting on behalf of a leading international energy and infrastructure organisation for a Project Construction Manager to support the successful delivery of a major offshore and energy-related project in Singapore.
This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing construction execution from planning through completion, ensuring safe, efficient, high-quality delivery in accordance with project objectives, schedule commitments, and budget requirements.

As Project Construction Manager, you will:
- Lead the overall construction strategy and execution throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide construction expertise and technical guidance to the Project Management Team to support critical project decisions.
- Plan, schedule, coordinate and supervise all site construction activities.
- Manage construction resources, contractors, subcontractors and site personnel to ensure effective project execution.
- Collaborate with engineering, project controls, procurement, commissioning and operations teams to resolve issues and optimise construction performance.
- Monitor project budgets, implement cost-control initiatives and identify opportunities for resource optimisation.
- Proactively identify construction risks, constraints and potential obstacles, implementing mitigation measures to minimise impact on project outcomes.
- Track project progress and prepare regular reports for senior management and key stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with applicable HSSE requirements, quality standards, regulatory obligations and company procedures.
- Manage relationships with clients, contractors, authorities and internal stakeholders to maintain effective communication and alignment.
- Promote a strong culture of safety, quality excellence and continuous improvement across all phases of project delivery.
- Support construction and commissioning activities to ensure safe and efficient project handover.
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of progressive construction and project management experience within the energy, oil & gas, offshore, marine, industrial or major infrastructure sectors.
- Demonstrated experience managing large-scale construction projects from planning through execution and completion.
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, project management principles, risk management and cost control processes.
- Sound understanding of HSSE, quality assurance, regulatory compliance and process safety requirements.
- Proven capability in managing multidisciplinary teams, contractors and subcontractors in complex project environments.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder engagement and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication, reporting and presentation abilities.
- Experience supporting construction and commissioning activities within major capital projects will be highly regarded.
