We’re looking for an experienced Contracts Specialist to support major electrical construction projects within a large-scale industrial environment.
This role is focused on construction delivery, including:
- High-voltage powerline relocation
- Substation upgrades and expansions
- Electrical infrastructure for large capital projects
- Long-lead equipment procurement
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute contracting strategies for electrical construction projects
- Lead tendering, evaluation, and contract award for construction and supply scopes
- Draft and negotiate contracts and Statements of Work (SOWs)
- Manage commercial risk, claims, and contract performance
- Support delivery of HV and substation-related works
- Build strong relationships with contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
- Degree in Law, Engineering, Procurement, Business, or similar.
- Strong background in construction projects (critical requirement)
- Experience in electrical infrastructure (HV, substations, power) highly desirable
- Proven experience in contracts, procurement, and negotiation
- Solid understanding of commercial risk and contract law
- Experience managing tenders, claims, and disputes
- Ability to work across multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
