Job Title: Project Controls Coordinator II
Location: Harrisburg, Pennsylvania 17110
Duration: 12‑Month Contract

Rate: $45/hr

About the Role
A leading energy-sector organization is seeking a Project Controls Coordinator II (Cost Control Analyst) to support multiple maintenance projects. This role focuses on total cost control, governance, forecasting, reporting, and supporting project teams across engineering, procurement, and construction. You will support 15+ projects ranging from $300K–$10MM and collaborate closely with schedule control counterparts.

Responsibilities
  • Provide guidance on cost planning, tracking, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Support monthly cost/cash-flow reviews and reporting cycles.
  • Manage control budgets, AFEs, contingency, escalation, internal/external costs.
  • Maintain cost/schedule tools and apply Earned Value Management principles.
  • Conduct variance analysis and identify cost/schedule risks.
  • Participate in cost/schedule/risk health checks.
  • Support project meetings, vendor discussions, and cost-related decision making.
  • Lead cost-related project closeout activities.

Qualifications
  • 2–4 years in project cost & schedule management (energy, industrial, petrochemical, power industries preferred).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or Construction Management preferred.
  • AACE (CCC/CCE) or PMP certification preferred.
  • Proficient in Oracle, EcoSys, Excel, PowerPoint, Word; familiarity with Power BI, SharePoint, OneDrive.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage a heavy workload across multiple projects with minimal supervision.
  • Experience with cost controls tools, standards, and EVM required.
  • Comfortable working with teams across multiple locations.
