Produce deliverables including but not limited to management of change, trending, reporting, Progress, Value of Work Done (VOWD) calculations, forecasting, supporting payment, contracts and budget administration across the Maintenance and Engineering Department and support the Performance Manager & Lead Cost Engineer in developing the AWP&B and Long-Term Plans by providing specific focus on M&E Project and Mods portfolio (P&M). Also experience with scheduling aspects and software is an advantage (P6), Monte Carlo/Deltek acumen and the likes. (not necessary at operating level but good understanding is advantageous). Risk process and systems required.
Key Accountabilities:
Will assist in the business area he/she is responsible for including the following tasks:
Cost Support:
• Support in the delivery of multiple Cost Reports and information to the Finance
Department, M&E Dept BROs and Management as per set deadlines and as required. Incorporating risks, opportunities and change.
• Ability to interface with all stakeholders (internal and external) to obtain accurate data for VOWD, accruals & forecast purposes. To independently expedite estimates of planned activity sets for fiscal year and life cycle scopes taking into consideration updating estimates, opportunities and vulnerabilities to provide P10 / P50 / P90
outputs.
Schedule & Risk (brief outline):
• Ensure all P&M (Projects & Mods) schedules are accurate and current.
• Ensure milestone measurement and variance commentaries are clear and accurate.
• Ensure mitigations are identified.
• Ensure all P&M scopes have active and valid risk process & registers (mitigations, actions and owners clear)
• Ensure efficiencies and savings process & registers are active and valid
Administration:
• Support internal departments in the generation and closure of commitments.
• Support review of Scopes of Work (SoW) for Contractors to price as well as review of received offers in the form of a CTR and ensure price offers an in accordance with the Terms and Conditions of the Contracts as well as the SOW.
• Support in identification and agreement of rates, re-measurements, method of measurements, rules of credit agreement on CTRs, internal audits on contracts, etc
Contractor Interface:
• Coordinate with assigned Contractors to facilitate the submission of Vendor data and work independently to review submissions and update the overall monthly cost files to produce accurate monthly deliverables as per deadlines.
Continuous Improvement:
• Provide experience and lessons learned to improve systems, processes and procedures for client
Criteria & Qualifications:
• Previous experience (15+ years) in a Cost / Project Controls, 5+ years management of team/people experience is required. Rotation working is a plus.
• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Project Management or Engineering/relevant fieldJob Description

• Strong analytical and information skills managing a varied portfolio of scopes.

• Strong English language speaking and writing skills and experience working in multi-cultural experience
