The Project Coordinator supports planning, execution, and closeout of nuclear projects, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with regulatory and quality requirements. The role connects project managers, engineering, field services, procurement, quality, outage teams, and customers. Experience with turbines and generators is an asset due to the technical and outage‑driven nature of the work.

Core Responsibilities
  • Support project schedules, milestones, deliverables, and daily coordination across cross‑functional teams.

  • Track progress, risks, issues, and resource constraints; prepare reports, logs, and meeting documentation.

  • Assist with outage planning, work packages, task sequencing, and turbine‑generator maintenance scopes.

  • Ensure compliance with nuclear safety culture, QA programs, documentation standards, and configuration control.

  • Coordinate technical deliverables, parts status, inspections, testing milestones, and vendor documentation.

  • Manage document control, RFIs, change requests, NCRs, and closeout records.

  • Support cost tracking, forecasting inputs, procurement follow‑up, and schedule performance monitoring.

  • Facilitate stakeholder communication, meetings, outage calls, and customer updates.

  • Assist with field readiness, site access, logistics, punch lists, and turnover activities.

Qualifications
  • Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Experience in project coordination, project controls, outage support, or industrial operations.

  • Background in nuclear or other regulated industries; exposure to turbines/generators preferred.

  • Strong organizational, communication, and scheduling skills (MS Project, P6, Excel, Power BI, SAP).

  • Ability to work with technical and non‑technical teams in high‑accountability environments.

Preferred
  • Nuclear outage or turbine‑generator overhaul experience.

  • Knowledge of nuclear QA, rotating equipment, maintenance planning, project controls, and configuration management.

  • PMP/CAPM or similar certification.
