We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to support a major long‑term industrial project in Port Arthur. Candidates may be based in Houston or close to Port Arthur.

This position is ideal for an engineer with EPS (Engineering Project Services) experience and a Bachelor's degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering. You will play a critical role supporting engineering, construction interfaces, site coordination, and project execution over the full 4‑year duration. 

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide day‑to‑day project engineering support across a major industrial site in Port Arthur.
  • Coordinate with EPC partners, construction teams, maintenance groups, and project controls.
  • Support engineering reviews, planning, scheduling, procurement, and contractor oversight.
  • Review engineering deliverables, drawings, specifications, and change requests.
  • Assist with developing scopes of work, cost estimates, schedules, and technical documentation.
  • Monitor project progress, identify technical risks, and support timely issue resolution.
  • Support commissioning, startup, punch list closure, and handover activities.
  • Provide clear reporting and updates to project stakeholders and leadership.
Required Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering (required).
  • Strong background in EPS / Engineering Project Services.
  • Experience in industrial, petrochemical, refinery, or energy sector projects.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Previous site‑based experience with construction interfaces preferred.
  • Strong understanding of safety requirements and field execution.
