About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Project Engineering Lead to support the Restoration Project, a complex and fast-track LNG restoration initiative. The successful candidate will lead multi-discipline engineering activities, coordinate project execution, and ensure alignment with project governance, risk management, engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning requirements.
Key Responsibilities
✅ Lead and manage multidisciplinary engineering activities to ensure project milestones are achieved within budget.
✅ Develop and coordinate execution plans for Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning teams.
✅ Support damage assessment activities and coordinate with OEMs and vendors to ensure equipment inspections and fit-for-service requirements are met.
✅ Manage engineering deliverables associated with damage assessment, demolition, detailed engineering, procurement, and construction activities.
✅ Coordinate interfaces between project stakeholders, contractors, consultants, vendors, and operations teams.
✅ Conduct risk-based evaluations and resolve complex technical and commercial project challenges.
✅ Ensure compliance with company standards, specifications, governance frameworks, and project management processes.
✅ Lead change management activities, scope optimization initiatives, risk identification, and lessons learned implementation.
Requirements
Education
🎓 Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
Experience
✔ Minimum 8 years of Engineering experience, including at least 4 years within the Oil & Gas industry.
✔ Minimum 1 year in a supervisory, acting leadership, or contractor oversight role.
✔ Experience with integrated LNG developments involving multiple EPC contractors.
✔ Experience with Upstream Sour Gas and LNG Facilities.
✔ Strong background in Project Engineering, Field Engineering, and EPC project execution.
✔ Experience working with major EPC contractors in a Lump Sum Contract environment.
✔ Demonstrated experience in risk management and technical decision making.
