Step into a pivotal role with a leading Oil & Gas client in Qatar as a Project Execution Engineering Specialist. This dynamic position calls for a highly skilled engineering professional to drive the seamless delivery of complex brownfield projects, implementing innovative execution strategies that align with rigorous project objectives.
You will navigate multifaceted technical and commercial interfaces, ensuring collaboration and precision across planning, operations, and contracting teams to keep projects on track and within scope. If you thrive in environments demanding detailed planning, strategic risk management, and effective coordination among diverse stakeholders, this is where your expertise will shine.
Required Skills:
- Extensive project execution engineering expertise with proven ability to manage multidisciplinary brownfield projects
- Strong skills in detailed project planning, execution strategy, and risk assessment with effective mitigation solutions
- Proficient in managing technical internal/external interfaces and commercial contractual aspects
- Ability to lead and coordinate with cross-functional teams including Operations, Joint Interest, and Commercial departments
- Experience in overseeing EPC contract scope development, tendering, procurement, contractor management, and project close-out
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management capabilities to handle multiple execution and support interfaces concurrently
Nice to Have Skills:
- Familiarity with third-party facility coordination
- Experience with multi-company/shareholder facility ownership and execution environments
- Technical guideline development skills for investigations and evaluations within specialized engineering domains
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a science degree with a major in Engineering specialization
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience in the oil and gas sector, including at least 5 years in a project management role
Other Requirements:
- Willingness and ability to adapt to a fast-paced, multi-tasking work environment with evolving project inputs and changes
- Flexibility to coordinate across various disciplines and teams to minimize project delays and obstacles
