NES Fircroft are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of capital and sustaining projects within a heavy industry environment. This role will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
The successful candidate will bring a strong mechanical engineering background and proven experience managing multidisciplinary projects in mining, mineral processing, or similar industrial settings.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end project management of capital and sustaining projects
- Develop project scopes, budgets, schedules, and resource plans
- Manage contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements
- Monitor project performance, including cost control, scheduling, and risk management
- Provide regular reporting on project status, risks, and opportunities to key stakeholders
- Drive continuous improvement in project delivery processes and methodologies
- Support commissioning, handover, and project close-out activities
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
- Proven experience in project management within mining, processing, or heavy industry
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems (e.g., pumps, conveyors, piping, rotating equipment)
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic environment
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
