Project Quality & Data Improvement Lead

About the Role We are seeking a highly motivated Project Quality & Data Improvement Lead to join the flagship Project. In this role, you will be the central point of coordination for Quality Assurance activities and the driving force behind operational Data Improvement across all project packages (SURF, SPS, FPSO, FOPS, D&W, GSR).

With a strong focus on Quality governance, process optimization, and delivery performance, you will work transversally to support Package Managers, identify improvement opportunities, strengthen compliance, and embed a delivery-focused culture across the project.

Key Responsibilities Quality Assurance Leadership
  • Develop, implement, and maintain a robust Quality Management System (QMS) aligned with project objectives and corporate referential.
  • Build dashboards, KPI frameworks, and reporting tools to highlight risks, trends, and slippages.
  • Coordinate all Quality activities across project packages, ensuring early issue detection, efficient follow-up, and timely close-out of actions, audits, and reviews.
  • Lead biweekly Quality review and issue-identification meetings.
  • Promote awareness and application of the Project Quality Policy across all teams.
  • Maintain and reconcile all Quality-related actions to support efficient project execution.
  • Contribute to project close-out reporting and lessons learned.
Data Improvement & Performance Optimization
  • Map processes to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.
  • Define and track KPIs to enhance delivery performance.
  • Implement Lean/continuous improvement initiatives to generate measurable operational gains.
  • Ensure information alignment between teams and contractor counterparts.
HSE Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate exemplary HSE behaviour and ensure HSE rules are embedded in all Quality processes.
  • Participate in site visits and ensure HSE considerations are systematically integrated into decision-making.
Delivery & Stakeholder Management
  • Provide regular reporting to the Project Delivery Manager (progress, KPIs, dashboards).
  • Assist with communications toward Concessionaire and Partners, including workshops and committees.
  • Highlight potential value variations linked to Quality activities and support Change Management.
  • Safeguard confidentiality of all produced documentation.
  • Promote a strong delivery culture based on transparency, performance, and collaborative behaviors.
Objectives of the Role
  • Ensure a fit-for-purpose, reliable, and efficient Quality Assurance system for the project.
  • Drive tangible improvements through high-impact Data optimization actions.
  • Maximize project value by fostering a Lean, integrated, and delivery-focused environment.
  • Reinforce transversal coordination and one-team operational excellence.
Candidate Profile Experience & Background
  • Confirmed Quality Engineer (or equivalent) with 10+ years' experience in Oil & Gas projects, including offshore experience.
  • Proven leadership in transversal coordination and Quality governance.
Technical Skills
  • Advanced proficiency in:
    • Excel (mandatory)
    • PowerQuery, PowerBI, DAX
  • Experience with:
    • VBA, SharePoint, NewProdom, Polarion, IQ-All
    • Process mapping, Lean practices, root cause analysis, KPI management
    • Project management tools and Microsoft Visio
