Our client is seeking an experienced Project Scheduler to support large mining projects, including remediation and mine closure activities.

Our client is seeking an experienced Project Scheduler to support large mining projects, including remediation and mine closure activities.
This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised scheduler who enjoys working in a collaborative environment, building strong stakeholder relationships, and driving project outcomes through robust planning and scheduling practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain and optimise project schedules using Primavera P6.
- Produce integrated schedules across engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and operational activities.
- Monitor project progress, identify schedule risks and recommend recovery strategies.
- Analyse critical path, float, productivity and schedule performance.
- Prepare regular schedule updates, dashboards and progress reports for project stakeholders.
- Liaise confidently with project managers, site teams and business stakeholders to ensure accurate planning inputs.
- Support planning activities across projects at various stages of the mining lifecycle, including operational, transition and closure work.
- Minimum 8+ years' experience in project planning, scheduling or project controls within the mining industry.
- Advanced experience using Primavera P6 (essential).
- Proven experience working across large operational, transition or mine closure projects.
- Experience supporting projects through multiple phases of the mine lifecycle, from development and operations through to remediation and closure.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the confidence to work across multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify scheduling risks and provide practical solutions.
- Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
