Purchasing Officer

We are seeking an experienced Purchasing Officer to support procurement and supply chain operations within a fast-paced, high-volume mining environment. This role is critical to ensuring timely delivery of materials and services, managing supply risks, and meeting stakeholder expectations in a highly transactional setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Negotiate to deliver value considering cost, quality, performance, and delivery for non‑contracted purchases.
• Execute purchasing tasks in line with agreed service levels and compliance requirements.
• Support the wider business with systems, policies, and procedures.
• Promote governance, ethical procurement practices, and process consistency.
• Highlight process improvement and automation opportunities.

About You

• 1–3 years in a fast‑paced procurement environment (mining preferred).
• Solid understanding of ERP systems, particularly SAP.
• Ability to apply consistent processes aligned with business needs.
• Customer-focused with strong relationship-building skills.
• Collaborative, supportive, and team-oriented.
