For our client, an international industrial services company operating in the power and industrial energy sector, we are looking for an experienced Welding Engineer / QA/QC Welding Specialist for long-term projects in Belgium and Germany.

Responsibilities:
- Supervision of construction and installation works on site.
- Supervision of assembly works in accordance with the ITP plan.
- Preparation of reports and completion of welding logs.
- Supervision of welding activities.
- Visual inspection and quality assessment of completed welds.
- Preparation and control of project documentation according to required standards.
- Supervision of marking, identification and traceability of materials.
- Monitoring compliance with welding technologies and procedures.
- Ordering and coordinating weld testing in line with applicable standards and project requirements.
- Verification of required welding qualifications and certificates.
- Cooperation with site teams, subcontractors, quality departments and client representatives.
Requirements:
- Valid IWE – International Welding Engineer qualification.
- Valid VT2 certification.
- PT2 and MT2 certifications will be a strong advantage.
- Experience in welding supervision and quality control.
- Experience with piping systems, pressure equipment and/or installations covered by the Pressure Equipment Directive / PED.
- Good knowledge of welding standards, specifications and quality requirements.
- Practical ability to assess weld quality.
- Ability to read technical drawings.
- Experience with ITP, WPS, welding documentation and NDT coordination.
- Good command of English or German.
- Driving licence category B.
- Availability for international assignments and rotation work.
- Stable, long-term cooperation on international energy sector projects.
- Employment based on an employment contract preferred.
- B2B cooperation possible, depending on the candidate’s preference.
- Rotation system: 4 weeks on / 1 week off.
- Working schedule:
- Monday–Friday: 10 hours per day
- Saturday: 8 hours
- Paid travel home during rotation.
- Travel support: fuel reimbursement or organised transport.
