QC Engineer - Construction Industry - Hsinchu Site

Job Summary:

 We are seeking a skilled and experienced Site Electrical and Instrumentation QC Engineer to join our construction team on-site. The ideal candidate will be part of Site QC Team and will be responsible for controlling the installation of electrical and instrumentation systems, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards and in compliance with relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Reviewing and executing project proposals/material submissions,
• Computer document processing,
• Managing quality control documents and form records (such as material arrivals, self-inspection forms, application forms, test reports, etc.),
• Statistical analysis of defects,
• Tracking and improving corrective and preventive measures,
• Coordinating quality control matters with subcontractors, and other tasks assigned by supervisors.
• Ensure that all installations comply with project specifications, safety standards, and local regulations.
• Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to ensure the integrity and functionality of installed systems.
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of installation activities.

Qualifications:

• Graduated from a college or above with a major in electromechanical engineering,
• Obtained Public Construction Quality Management Personnel certification
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant engineering experience, preferably in the construction industry, seawater desalination experience is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of electrical and instrumentation systems and installation practices.
• Familiarity with local building codes and regulations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in relevant software and tools.
• Proficient in Mandarin and possess good communication, reading, and writing skills in English.
