Job Summary The QC Inspector is responsible for performing detailed inspections of products to ensure compliance with customer specifications and quality standards. This role involves documenting inspection results, identifying defects, and supporting quality assurance processes to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform visual and dimensional inspections of parts to ensure conformance to customer and engineering specifications
  • Identify, document, and report nonconformances such as scratches, dents, stains, finish flaws, or missing/damaged components
  • Compile and review product documentation including inspection reports, material heat reports, and Certified Material Test Reports (CMTRs)
  • Maintain accurate and complete inspection records and documentation
  • Prepare detailed inspection reports outlining all tests and findings
  • Collaborate with the Quality Documentation team to ensure customer requirements are met
  • Support continuous improvement and lean quality initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and promote a safe working environment
  • Work closely with Warehouse and Quality teams to address defects related to picking and packing
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace in line with facility standards
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience in quality inspection or manufacturing environment preferred
  • Working knowledge of valves and actuation (preferred)
  • Understanding of dimensional inspection and manufacturing processes
  • Familiarity with inspection tools and methods
