For our client, a leading company in the life sciences sector located in the Greater Wuppertal area, we are currently looking for a QC Microbiology Analyst (m/f/d) to support quality control laboratory operations.
About the Role
As a QC Microbiology Analyst, you will be responsible for performing routine microbiological and physicochemical testing in a GMP-regulated environment. You will support quality control activities through laboratory testing, documentation, and environmental monitoring activities.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform routine microbiological and physicochemical testing, including bioburden, endotoxin (LAL), conductivity, and TOC analysis
• Conduct testing of water samples, production samples, and environmental monitoring samples
• Record and document test results in compliance with GMP requirements and established procedures
• Support the preparation, review, and maintenance of SOPs, protocols, and laboratory documentation
• Assist with routine environmental monitoring and quality control activities
• Support investigations, deviations, and continuous improvement initiatives as required
Qualifications
• Degree or technical qualification in Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biology, Chemistry, Life Sciences, or a related field
• Experience in microbiology, water testing, environmental monitoring, or quality control laboratory environments
• Knowledge of GMP-regulated environments and documentation requirements
• Experience with microbiological testing techniques and laboratory procedures
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Experience with LIMS, SAP, or similar laboratory systems is an advantage
• Good English communication skills; German is beneficial but not mandatory
• Applicants must have a valid work permit for Germany (EU citizenship or existing work authorization)
