Hiring: Quality Assurance Engineer – Oil & Gas Location: Onshore - Qatar
Industry: Oil & Gas | EPC | Fabrication | QA/QC
We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to support the implementation of our project quality management program and ensure the Contractor’s QMS is effectively executed across procurement, fabrication, and installation activities.
This role requires strong analytical skills, the ability to make decisions in complex situations, and the capability to work with global, multicultural teams—all while fostering a strong quality culture across the project.
Key Responsibilities ✔ Maintain interfaces with Contractors to ensure quality issues are resolved promptly
✔ Participate in audits and manage closure of findings
✔ Monitor and report on quality KPIs and performance
✔ Provide continual communication to COMP3 Head of Quality regarding contractor/subcontractor/vendor performance
✔ Drive Lessons Learned initiatives for continuous improvement
✔ Manage fabrication quality issues & risks
✔ Participate in vendor pre-qualification processes
✔ Coordinate vendor performance evaluation during project execution

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
- ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification (mandatory)
- Minimum 4 years of QA experience in Oil & Gas
- Experience working with O&G operators, EPC contractors, or service companies
- Strong understanding of industry standards & fabrication quality requirements
