Job Opportunity: Quality Lead (Performance)
Location: Doha, Qatar
Function: Quality – Shared Services
Level: Senior / Lead
Contract Duration: 3 Years
Work Schedule:
  • 8–10 hours per day
  • 6 days per week
Rotation: 12 weeks ON / 2 weeks OFF

Job Purpose
The Quality Lead (Performance) is responsible for ensuring the integrity, compliance, and fitness‑for‑service of all goods and services procured for Major Projects .

As part of the Quality Shared Services Team, the role focuses on:
  • Driving high quality, cost‑effective execution
  • Ensuring safe, reliable, full life‑cycle operations
  • Analyzing project quality data to identify trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities
  • Enabling flawless project execution through robust Quality Management Systems (QMS)
Job Context & Key Challenges
  • Working under tight project schedules while maintaining high standards of Quality Assurance, transparency, and governance
  • Establishing, revising, and enforcing a consistent Quality Management System across multiple large‑scale projects
  • Evaluating failure analysis reports, including laboratory test results of failed materials and components
  • Ensuring timely resolution of quality issues to the satisfaction of all stakeholders
  • Ensuring contractors, vendors, and subcontractors meet all quality, safety, and regulatory requirements, and deliver projects on time and within budget
🔹 Key Job Accountabilities
  • Monitor and assess quality performance of contractors and vendors across all MP and NFPS projects
  • Analyze Audit Reports, NCRs, DRs, SDRs, and Audit Findings to identify trends and propose improvement initiatives
  • Authorize, guide, and monitor Contractor & Vendor Quality Teams
  • Provide oversight on quality plans, gap analyses, procedures, and compliance
  • Lead or participate in QMS audits against Company requirements and international standards
  • Participate in lessons learned sessions to improve future project quality interfaces
  • Develop and implement Quality Control Plans, procedures, and documentation
  • Investigate quality issues using Root Cause Analysis tools (5 Whys, Fishbone, etc.)
  • Implement and close Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA)
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and customer requirements
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Project Teams to drive continuous improvement
🔹 Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Sciences
  • ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor Certification (Mandatory)
🔹 Knowledge & Experience
  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in Quality within the Oil & Gas / LNG industry
  • At least 1 year in a supervisory or oversight role (including contractors/vendors)
  • Experience working with Operating Companies, EPC Contractors, and Service Providers
  • Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems, industry standards, and specifications
  • Proven experience in:
    • Quality Plans & Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs)
    • Audits, NCRs, DRs, and SDR management
    • Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA)
    • Performance improvement methodologies
  • Knowledge of destructive & non‑destructive testing methods
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and stakeholder management skills
