Senior Quantity Surveyor (Pre & Post Contract) Contract Role | Kalimantan
We are supporting a global consultancy on the appointment of a Senior Quantity Surveyor for a major infrastructure project based in Kalimantan.
Contract Duration
• 6‑month contract, extendable subject to performance and project needs
Key Responsibilities
Pre‑Contract
• Support the full tendering lifecycle including EOI, PQ, RFP and bid evaluations
• Prepare budgets, BOQs, cost estimates and cost plans during the design phase
• Assist with EPC contractor selection and recommendation of award
Post‑Contract
• Provide site‑based QS support during construction
• Review and verify contractor progress claims, quantity trackers and earned value data
• Manage variations and change orders, aligning scope with approved budgets
• Maintain QS procedures for accurate progress measurement and reporting
• Ensure full compliance with contract, regulatory and HSE requirements
Requirements
• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering or Construction Management
• Minimum 8 years’ experience for Senior QS level (lesser experience considered for junior/intermediate roles)
• Experience with lump sum, reimbursable and unit rate contracts
• Strong exposure to jetty, port or heavy infrastructure projects
• Broad understanding across civil, structural, mechanical, piping and E&I disciplines
• Advanced MS Excel skills for cost and progress analysis
