NES Fircroft are supporting our valued client, a major global energy operator, who are recruiting a Readiness Advisor on an initial 18 month contract to join their Perth Office.
The new facility is currently in yard, commissionined to the largest extent possible in the yard onshore, with well completion and final commissioning and performance testing to occur offshore. After the project achieves the RFSU milestone, the new facilities are ready for Start-up using hydrocarbons. The new facility will be maximizing the use of existing facility processes, procedures and Ways of Working, which will be adapted for the new facility where required.
The transition from Project to Asset processes and procedures is managed through the P2A process, which includes specific milestones. Each milestone has prerequisites that are defined in the VCR’s (verification Certificate of Readiness).
Supporting the Lead, the Readiness Advisor will play an integral role in supporting the P2A process and supporting Asset, Project and Functions to verify the readiness for these milestones.
The Readiness Advisor will be expected to work closely with the Lead, Operations and Maintenance Team, Discipline Engineers, Process Owners, and Contractor organisations to further mature the facility to ensure ready for Starting up aligned with the Project timeline.
Specific activities will include:
- Progress tracking of the facility Readiness for upcoming milestones and for Start-up and Operations
- Collaborating and supporting the Lead on the coordination and planning for the upcoming VCR’s up to and including VCR5 (Verification Certificate of Readiness)
- Support the Readiness Manager, ORA Manager, and Start-up Lead with the development and operationalization of the integrated Start-up Plans,
- ORA Team Budget tracking
- Monitoring and Reporting on Operational Readiness deliverables for facility Readiness
- Alignment of P2A with facility Management Systems
- Support the ORA Team with ProRisk risk management
- Focal point for collation and documentation of OR Lessons learned throughout Execute and early operations phases
- Support planning and execution of the Assurance Activities (including PSUA - Pre Start Up Audit), monitor and report action completion
