A renewable energy developer is seeking a Regulatory Coordinator to work with the Development Team. This is a newly created role supporting continued growth and renewable energy development activities in British Columbia.
The Regulatory Coordinator will play a key role in managing regulatory processes, coordinating permit applications, tracking financial incentives, and ensuring compliance throughout the project lifecycle — from development through close‑out.

A renewable energy developer is seeking a Regulatory Coordinator to work with the Development Team. This is a newly created role supporting continued growth and renewable energy development activities in British Columbia.
The Regulatory Coordinator will play a key role in managing regulatory processes, coordinating permit applications, tracking financial incentives, and ensuring compliance throughout the project lifecycle — from development through close‑out.

Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage regulatory submissions across multiple projects.
- Assemble, submit, and track electrical permits (e.g., ESA plan reviews, permits, inspections).
- Coordinate building permit submissions with municipalities, where required.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies (LDCs, ESA, municipalities, and other authorities) to submit and track applications.
- Monitor regulatory processes to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, timelines, and budgets.
- Manage regulatory deliverables, approval tracking, and documentation control.
- Coordinate and track submissions for financial incentive programs across technology streams.
- Research and analyze new financial incentive opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and incentive program requirements.
- Support integration of engagement schedules with regulatory timelines.
- Contribute to schedule management, risk matrices, and decision matrices.
- Provide regulatory input into customer proposals and marketing materials.
- Compile and submit regulatory documentation for project close‑out packages.
- Report on project status and regulatory progress to internal teams and customers.
- Attend and support customer meetings, presenting regulatory information as required.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- University degree, college diploma, or equivalent related experience.
- 1–3 years of administrative or regulatory coordination experience, preferably in construction, infrastructure, or renewable energy.
- Experience coordinating permits and regulatory submissions is strongly preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings (an asset).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Working knowledge of local, provincial, and federal regulatory frameworks.
- Valid driver’s licence.
