Position: Risk Analyst
Position Summary
- Position Function: Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC)
- Matrix Entity Supported: Finance
- Financial and Delegated Authorities: As per MoA
- Purpose: Deliver risk analytics, insights and reporting to support the enterprise-wide risk, controls and assurance requirements for Woodside.

Responsibilities & Accountabilities
HSEQ - Safety leadership consistent with Woodside’s Safety Culture.
Leadership & Corporate Expectations - Demonstrate GRC leadership expectations and behaviours.
- Support the enterprise-wide approach to risk management, regulatory compliance and governance.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Confidence to work autonomously to directly solve issues, challenge the status quo and know when escalation is appropriate.
- Deliver work against agreed timelines and quality standards.
- Effectively collaborate with peers and stakeholders across GRC and other functions as required, to support effective delivery of their work scope.
Technical - Risk Management - Have knowledge of the Risk Process documents within OurWMS.
- Prepare routine and adhoc risk and control reporting for stakeholders within GRC and other functions and business units, including PowerPoint slide packs.
- Conduct risk and control master data analysis to identify data gaps, inconsistencies and non-compliances.
- Develop dashboards to identify trends and insights into risk and control health and performance.
- Connect data and draw insights from different applications or corporate systems.
- Support updating and maintenance of risk and control data and records in core GRC systems.
- Monitor and report on Key Risk Indicators (KRIs).
- Support initiatives aimed at streamlining processes and systems to deliver continuous improvement.

Skills & Experience - Understanding of data analytics and systems
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience developing corporate reporting and dashboards
- Experience: 5 years+
- Bachelor degree in finance, business, accounting, economics, risk management, law, data analytics, or related discipline
