Safety Manager (Automotive)

Job Responsibilities:

• Conducts safety patrol, meetings, audits, and inspections to ensure compliance, evaluate performance, identify corrective action, and implement follow up assessments.
• Plans, implements, and conducts preventative action, safety, and compliance training programs.
• Plans, implements, manages, and maintains comprehensive environmental safety & health programs on premises or at project site locations.
• Provides project management / safety plan with guidance on health and safety and confirm actual site to fulfill HQ's requirement, customer's regulatory guidelines, and legal regulations.
• Collaborates with management to develop an Emergency Action Plan and serve as primary contact for project site injury and incident notification, investigation, and case management and maintains a written log of safety inspection activities, reports, and correspondence.
• Pay significant role to push all safety job are performed in accordance with approved manuals, internal policies and procedures,and law regulations.
• Provides technical support to all involved people.
• Coordinates, monitors and updates schedule for all involved safety activities.
• Reports the status of projects or abnormalities affecting company's business.
• Participates in team meetings and provides better environmental workplace.

Qualifications

Required Knowledge / Skills:

• Legal and regulatory knowledge, compliance concerning safety, health and environment
• Familiarity with the ISO 45001 system
• Deep understanding in regulatory safety guidelines and industrial machinary safety standard
• In-depth knowledge and skills of risk recognitions and identification
• A comprehensive understanding of the risk assessment process
• Capacity to identify situations requiring improvement in safety
• Ability to explain technical concepts in simple terms
• Skills in communicating, training and motivating colleagues
• Ability for resolving conflicts and problems
• Good at critical-thinking and problem-solving
• Ability for originating and controlling project
• Strong leadership skills
• Good command in English both writing and speaking
• Fluent communication in Thai is a must

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:

• Age is in a range of 36-50 years old.
• Bachelor’s degree in safety, Health, Engineering or related field preferred
• Minimum 7 years in management experience of Industrial Safety field, Automotive industry is preferable
• Current certifications in Lead Auditor of ISO 45001 system, Construction Safety and Industrial Safety Standards
• plus familiarity with S-SFM (Toyota Safety Activity) shall be highly desirable.
