Key Responsibilities
1. Leadership
- Lead and manage the Sales team, fostering a high-performance culture
- Build, develop, and retain critical capabilities within the team
- Ensure alignment with organizational values and leadership principles
- Own full P&L responsibility for the assigned market
- Drive revenue growth through strategic business planning and execution
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business targets
- Contribute to corporate strategy, particularly in sales and market expansion
- Establish and optimize sales processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness
- Manage and motivate the sales team to meet and exceed targets
- Monitor performance and implement corrective actions where necessary
- Develop and manage sales budgets, ensuring financial targets and compliance are met
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders
- Track competitor activities and market movements to strengthen competitive positioning
- Implement customer service strategies to ensure long-term customer satisfaction
- Manage sales pipeline and ensure accurate forecasting
- Optimize sales channel strategies to maximize market coverage
- Strengthen and maintain brand positioning and reputation in the market
- Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities
- Translate market insights into actionable strategies
- Represent the organization at industry events, exhibitions, and conferences
- Build relationships with key stakeholders, including government and industry bodies
- Drive local marketing initiatives aligned with overall business strategy
- Conduct product positioning and pricing strategies
- Maintain strong market intelligence across all product segments
- Support thought leadership and stakeholder engagement activities
- Collaborate with senior leadership on budget planning and mid-term business plans
- Ensure accurate sales forecasting and reporting
- Monitor financial performance, including revenue, expenses, and gross profit
- Oversee accounts receivable and ensure timely collections
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus)
- Minimum 10–15 years of experience in sales, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
- Proven track record in managing P&L and delivering revenue growth
- Experience in industrial, technical, safety, engineering, or B2B solution-based industries is highly preferred
- Strong understanding of sales strategy development, channel management, and key account management
- Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and motivate high-performing teams
