Sales Support Professional

Position Overview
This entry to mid‑level role supports daily sales operations while contributing to a multi‑year modernization initiative focused on improving sales and order management workflows. The position blends sales support, order processing, data accuracy, and systems improvement. It operates in a hybrid environment with regular in‑office collaboration and optional travel for training or team events.

Key Responsibilities
Sales & Customer Support - Supporting Nuclear Projects

• Assist account managers with proposals, customer inquiries, and sales support activities.
• Generate accurate customer-facing parts quotations using affiliate data.
• Coordinate customer-facing activities such as product demonstrations, trainings, tours, and presentations.

  Order & Transaction Management

• Prepare, review, and book customer orders and revisions.
• Validate order completeness and consistency by coordinating with internal teams and customer stakeholders.
• Initiate sales orders and purchase orders to vendors based on customer requirements.
• Ensure timely shipment, billing, and documentation for parts orders.
• Manage parts procurement, order processing, and importation in coordination with global affiliates.
• Interface with product, factory, and marketing groups to resolve configuration or technical issues.
• Monitor profitability for orders in backlog and validate discount rates for smaller transactions.
• Resolve issues related to transaction quality and data accuracy.
• Review and sign off on small bids or proposals; validate technical solutions for smaller markets when required.

  Process Modernization & Systems Improvement

• Research and document current processes, gaps, and improvement opportunities.
• Design improved workflows aligned with business needs and operational efficiency.
• Develop and configure Microsoft-based tools to support modernized processes.
• Conduct user testing, gather feedback, and refine solutions.
• Support rollout, adoption, and stabilization during phased implementation.
• Maintain and enhance tools, templates, and workflows to drive consistency and reliability.

  Preferred Skills & Tools
Must-Have

• SAP (E35) experience in procurement, order entry, and data management.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and adaptability.
• Ability to manage large datasets with accuracy.

  Nice-to-Have

• Experience with Microsoft Power Automate or similar automation tools.
• Background in commercial operations, finance, or sales operations.
• Comfort working with cross-functional teams and complex data.
