Overview We are seeking an experienced Scheduling Lead to oversee and optimise workforce planning and scheduling operations. This role is critical in ensuring effective resource allocation, operational efficiency, and service delivery, while leading a team and driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end scheduling function, ensuring optimal allocation of resources across projects/operations.
- Develop and maintain short-term and long-term schedules aligned with business requirements and demand forecasts.
- Prioritise workloads based on business needs, deadlines, and resource availability.
- Manage, mentor, and develop a team of schedulers/planners to deliver high performance.
- Collaborate with stakeholders (operations, project teams, HR, and senior leadership) to ensure scheduling aligns with organisational goals.
- Monitor performance metrics (utilisation, productivity, service levels) and implement improvements.
- Identify scheduling risks or conflicts and proactively resolve them.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including process optimisation and system enhancements.
- Ensure compliance with organisational policies, labour regulations, and contractual requirements.
- Proven experience in a scheduling, planning, or workforce management leadership role.
- Strong track record of leading teams and prioritising workloads in fast-paced environments.
- Experience in resource planning, forecasting, and capacity management.
- Demonstrated ability to make data-driven decisions and manage competing priorities.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and organisational skills.
- Proficiency in scheduling tools, workforce management systems, or project planning software.
- Background in industries such as construction, engineering, data centres, logistics, or operations-heavy environments.
- Experience implementing or improving scheduling systems/processes.
- Knowledge of project management principles or methodologies (e.g., Agile, PRINCE2, PMP).
