NES Fircroft is currently recruiting a Senior / Principal Engineer for an engineering project based in Singapore.
The Senior / Principal Engineer will be responsible for developing final engineering designs based on approved conceptual or proposal inputs. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional and global teams to ensure design requirements are captured accurately and delivered within project timelines.

The Senior / Principal Engineer will be responsible for developing final engineering designs based on approved conceptual or proposal inputs. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional and global teams to ensure design requirements are captured accurately and delivered within project timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop final engineering designs based on conceptual or proposal specifications, ensuring alignment with customer and project requirements
- Prepare detailed engineering deliverables, including drawings, documentation, and technical specifications
- Generate Bills of Materials (BOM), engineering calculations, and supporting technical documentation
- Ensure all engineering deliverables are completed within agreed timelines and quality standards
- Lead and support design and analytical activities using established engineering methods and tools
- Apply engineering judgment to integrate available data and inputs into robust design solutions
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams to ensure design integration and consistency
- Support preparation of technical reports, service documentation, and installation guidance
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Petroleum, or related discipline)
- Minimum 10 years of experience in design engineering within oil & gas or related industrial sectors
- Experience in design engineering for oil & gas equipment (e.g. pressure control systems, wellhead systems, or similar products)
- Strong experience in preparing engineering drawings and models using CAD tools (2D/3D)
- Familiarity with engineering standards, codes, and best practices relevant to industrial or energy sectors
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and global team environments
- Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative and drive deliverables
- Candidates must be eligible to work in Singapore. Sponsorship is not available for this role
