Senior Advisor - Quality Management Assurance

Our Oil and Gas Client is currently seeking a Senior Advisor (QMS Assurance) for a 3-month contract with possible further extension. This role will be based in Perth CBD.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Providing advice and support to the management of the Client’s processes relating to quality management systems, and risk management systems.
  • Managing the development and maintenance of the Client’s Quality Management processes, particularly QMS Compliance, QMS Reporting and Analysis and QMS stakeholder relationship management in liaison with the Assistant Director Risk and Internal Audit;
  • Providing advice and independent quality control over the QMS, including ensuring documents are appropriately controlled in line with the Client’s management of change process;
  • Developing, reviewing and delivering awareness and training to the Clients employees as and when required in relation to QMS and management of change process;
  • Analysing existing operational processes and making recommendations for performance improvement.
  • Providing assistance and support with Risk and Audit tasks; and
  • Complying with the Client’s business policies and processes, including financial, communication, information and human resources practices, and the Australian Public Service Values, Code of Conduct and Employment Principles.
Selection criteria
  • Demonstrated experience participating in reviews of management system documentation that covers Policies, Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions.
  • Demonstrated experience of working within formal management systems and associated change management processes.
  • Demonstrated experience of working with an Enterprise Document and Record Management System (EDRMS), particularly an understanding of how these systems support the document control process.
  • Demonstrated experience of organisational risk management and compliance obligations.
  • Relevant training in quality management systems.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting the provision of internal training.
  • Highly developed interpersonal, communication, negotiation and influencing skills, including liaising and negotiating with staff at all levels and the ability to foster productive working relationships and to acquire knowledge of other work areas.
