Senior Automation Engineer 
 
Contract period: 02.03.2026 - 30.06.2027
Location: Stavanger


Main Tasks:
  • As Senior Instrument Engineer, you will support and plan activities in order to provide safe, in-control and efficient management of field equipment and systems.
  • Demonstrate strong commitment to the HSSE, integrity and automation standards when carrying out the responsibilities, delivering safe, efficient and reliable operations within the framework of the management system.
  •  Support client's common strategies to ensure continuous improvement, standardization and efficient across all offshore assets.
  • Responsible for planning and execution of modifications.
  • Technical support resolving direct and short-term actions. 
  • Ensure technical integrity criterias are met and maintained for related performance standards.
  • Ensure close cooperation with critical suppliers and contractors. 

Qualifications:
  • Master of Science or similar in Automation, preferably with specialization in Control systems 
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with design and operation of offshore facilities and systems, preferably within the oil & gas industry.
  • Experience and understanding related to all relevant discipline standards and guidelines
  • Systematic, structured and reliable in the performance of daily tasks.
  • Dedication and a personal drive for continuous improvement
  • Good communications skills in both Norwegian and English
