NES Fircroft is currently recruiting a Senior Completions Engineer for a major offshore energy development project to be based in Singapore.
The Senior Completions Engineer shall be responsible for designing, planning, and executing completions activities, ensuring they are delivered in compliance with HSSE, quality standards, and project schedule requirements. You will also develop and manage project-specific completions documentation to support construction and commissioning phases.
Specifically, you shall be responsible for:
• Develop detailed completions programs, methodologies, and system handover strategies aligned with project requirements.
• Design and implement appropriate completion techniques, tools, and processes to optimize project performance.
• Prepare and manage completions documentation, ensuring readiness for construction, pre-commissioning, and commissioning phases.
• Coordinate and interface with engineering, construction, commissioning teams, and contractors to ensure seamless integration of completions activities.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to site teams, ensuring best practices are consistently applied.
• Identify and resolve operational challenges, troubleshooting issues to improve completions performance and reduce non-productive time.
• Monitor completions progress and support systemization and handover processes.
• Drive continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned and implementing best practices across project execution.
• Ensure compliance with HSSE standards, regulatory requirements, and quality procedures across all completions activities.
To be successful in this role you shall need:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8+ years of extensive experience in completions within oil & gas or large-scale energy projects.
• Strong understanding of completions processes, systems engineering, and construction/commissioning interfaces.
• Proven track record delivering projects in complex environments with high technical and operational demands.
• Experience in developing completions documentation, systemization, and handover processes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Knowledge of HSSE regulations, process safety, and quality management systems.
• Experience working in multidisciplinary teams across project lifecycle phases.
• Exposure to offshore or FPSO-related projects will be highly advantageous.
