An energy operating client in Qatar is looking to hire a Senior Contract Analyst ( Bunker & Agency).
The incumbent will be responsible to conduct all shipping related accounting activities and provide financial and commercial support to the Ship Contracts & Bunker Division to develop, execute and analyse all LNG shipping related contracts, and ensure compliance with internal financial controls and existing contractual terms.
He/She will be responsible for complete administrative and financial tasks for all Shipping related activities such as payment of charter hire, insurance, marine fuel purchase and relevant contractual invoices, ensuring that invoices and supporting documentation are recorded accurately and processed in a timely manner. Work closely with the Finance Department so that all critical information is being clearly communicated and invoices paid on time.
Assist in the procurement of marine fuel for the chartered fleet and ensure delivery in line with the applicable procedure. When required or assigned, serve as the primary point of contact for all marine fuel deliveries on a 24/7 basis.
Develop and maintain financial statements for ventures with cost pass through arrangements and actualise costs. Execute all shipping-related financial and reporting activities and ensure compliance with internal standards.
Produce and distribute critical financial reports such as ROB’s (Fuel Remaining on Board), monthly bunker procurement, ship utilization reports and monthly shipping accruals.

Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or Shipping.
- 8 years of industry experience with strong understanding of financial activities and contract administration
- Good analytical skills.
- Understanding of fundamentals of spreadsheet modelling and operation.
- Strong English verbal and written English communication.
- Computer literacy (including MS Office applications).
- Familiarity with SAP purchasing modules.
