Senior Data Engineer – Central Paris – 6 Months

Hybrid – 3 days on site, 2 days remote
Must be fluent in French with a good command of English
Start Date Mid May 2026

Required: - Azure Cloud Services: Proficiency in native data components such as Azure Functions, Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS Gen2), Azure Container Instances, and Azure Event Hubs for streaming. Relational databases and a good understanding of non-relational databases Engineering & Transformation. Python (+pandas). Custom Python scripts for data cleaning and contextualization.  Data science is a plus Tools. Knowledge of GitHub and advanced proficiency in Git. Implementation of tests (Pytest), linting (Ruff/Black).


Within my clients Digital Factory (approximately 30 squads), the Senior Data Engineer will join a multidisciplinary product team to contribute their expertise in the design and deployment of complex data pipelines. You will work in a mature Agile environment, supported by experts (Craft Coaches, Chapter Leads, Architects) to focus on software quality and flow performance.

Senior Data Engineer Main objective

The Senior Data Engineers mission is to design, develop, and industrialize the product's data solutions, ensuring a scalable, maintainable architecture that complies with Digital Factory standards.

Engineering & Development:

Design and develop robust and high-performance data pipelines
Participate in the design and implementation of data architectures that meet product needs
Ensure code quality through Clean Code principles, DDD, and peer reviews
Contribute to product documentation on data-related aspects

Industrialization:

Contribute to the observability of data flows (monitoring, alerting, logging)
Optimize processing performance and infrastructure costs (Data FinOps)
Ensure the security and compliance of the data handled

Technical Support & Expertise:

Communicate effectively with the business and translate business needs into technical requirements
Provide technical insights into the feasibility of user stories during agile rituals
Resolve and prevent production incidents
Actively participate in teamwork and Interact with cross-functional roles
Actively contribute to the community (Chapter) to share technical feedback, best practices, etc.
