Senior Data Engineering – 12 Months Contract – Paris France
Hybrid – 3 days on site 2 days remote
Must be fluent in French with a good command of English

Basic knowledge of Terraform or willingness to train. SQL databases: PostgreSQL, SQL client software, & database administration tools (e.g., DBeaver). Commitment to continuous learning & adaptation to emerging technologies such as agentic AI

My client is looking for a curious & committed Senior Data Engineering. You will be responsible for building scalable data pipelines, designing robust data models, & delivering high-quality data solutions in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Build & maintain scalable data pipelines for ETL/ELT processes to ensure reliable & efficient data flow between systems
- Develop data solutions in Python to manipulate, transform & prepare data ingestion workflows
- Design & implement data models that are robust, scalable, maintainable & easily exploitable by other products & data analysts
- Optimize data architecture & storage solutions for performance, cost control, & accessibility
- Rely on Databricks & AWS cloud services for data orchestration, processing, & delivery
- Maintain complex data calculation formulas
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand needs & ensure that data products meet the organization's objectives
- Work with backend engineers to align service integrations & technical implementations
- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, & software planning
- Monitor, test & set data quality standards to ensure the accuracy, consistency, reliability & optimal performance of data assets
- Demonstrate ownership & initiative in maintaining data quality, system performance & continuous improvement of data infrastructure
- Have experience using agentic AI tools in day-to-day delivery operations
