NES Fircroft are looking for a Senior Electrical Designer or strong intermediate designer for our Tier 1 miner, supporting the detailed design of HV substation packages for a large transmission project. This role is suited to someone wanting a long-term position.

Benefits:
- Location: Perth CBD
- Contract: 12 months (high possibility of extension)
- Rate: $90 - $95 (Senior), $65 - $75 (Intermediate)
- Hours: Monday–Friday, 45 hours per week
- Flexibility: Up to 2 days WFH
- Other Benefits: Fortnightly pay, EAP contractor support, dedicated NES Fircroft consultant
- Electrical Drafting, Engineering, or Trade qualification
- Must have proven and recent experience as an Electrical Designer
- Demonstrated delivery of projects using OpenBuildings Designer / MicroStation (2D & 3D)
- Detailed design experience with: Switchrooms, Control panels and control systems, HV substations, Renewable / green energy projects (highly regarded), Familiarity with AutoCAD, EPLAN, or similar design tools (advantageous)
- Perform detailed electrical design and drafting, including: Single line diagrams, Schematics, Termination drawings
- Develop general arrangement and layout drawings
- Cable routing and cable layout design
- Provide support to electrical installation teams when required
- Contribute to HV substation and renewable energy projects
