An established owner operator is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join its Technical Services team. This is a senior technical role providing engineering leadership, solving complex electrical issues and supporting operational assets and projects across Australia.

The Role
- Provide technical leadership and guidance across electrical engineering activities
- Develop and review electrical designs and engineering solutions
- Support operations with troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues
- Maintain and improve engineering standards, specifications and technical documentation
- Lead and participate in design, technical and safety reviews
- Mentor junior engineers and support capability development
- Certify engineering designs and documentation where required
- Drive continuous improvement across electrical engineering practices
- Degree in Electrical Engineering recognised under the Washington Accord
- Around 10+ years’ electrical engineering experience
- CPEng with Engineers Australia
- RPEQ, or working towards registration
- Strong electrical design, technical review and problem-solving capability
- Strong protection design experience
- Sound understanding of safety in design and engineering risk management
- Experience within power generation, mining, oil & gas or other heavy industry highly regarded
