An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Senior Exploration Geologist to join a high-performing Australian exploration team focused on identifying and advancing new mineral resource opportunities.
Based in Perth, this role combines strategic target generation, geological interpretation, program planning, field leadership, and stakeholder engagement. You will play a critical role in progressing exploration projects from early-stage concepts through to advanced drilling and resource definition programs. 

The position includes regular field campaigns across Australia, typically involving 4–6 months of fieldwork per year, delivered through flexible campaign-style rosters to support operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Generate and prioritise exploration targets using geological, geochemical, geophysical and spatial datasets. 
  • Lead the planning, execution and evaluation of exploration programs from greenfields through to resource definition drilling. 
  • Develop geological models and apply mineral systems thinking to identify new opportunities.
  • Manage field programs, drilling campaigns and exploration contractors.
  • Monitor program budgets, timelines and technical outcomes.
  • Deliver technical reports, recommendations and presentations to senior leadership. 
  • Mentor and support junior geologists and field personnel. 
  • Ensure exploration activities are conducted safely, responsibly and in accordance with environmental and cultural heritage requirements. 
About You:

You are an experienced exploration professional with a passion for discovery, strong technical capability, and proven leadership experience.

To be successful, you will have:
  • Degree qualification in Geology.
  • Considerable exploration geology experience.
  • Demonstrated success in exploration target generation and assessment.
  • Strong skills in geological, geochemical and geophysical interpretation.
  • Experience designing and delivering exploration programs and drilling campaigns.
  • Proven leadership and mentoring capability.
  • S26 - Eligibility to perform statutory supervisory responsibilities under relevant mining legislation. 
Desirable
  • Lithium or critical minerals exploration experience.
  • Advanced skills in QGIS, Leapfrog, ioGAS or similar geological software platforms.
